About this role
EduCore Institute's Quality Assurance team is seeking a mid-level QA Engineer to ensure the reliability and quality of our educational software products. In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, identify defects, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver robust solutions for learners and educators. You will own testing across multiple product areas, balancing manual and automated approaches. Your work directly impacts the experience of thousands of students and instructors who depend on our platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans covering functional, integration, and regression testing
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks
- Identify, document, and verify resolution of software defects
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define quality standards
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
- Monitor test metrics and report on quality trends and release readiness
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of QA testing experience with educational software or comparable products
- Ability to communicate test results clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems
- Familiarity with agile development workflows
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and scripting languages
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
