About this role
BuildRight Construction seeks a QA Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team in Boston. You will conduct inspections and testing across construction projects to verify compliance with building codes, standards, and specifications. In this role, you'll be the eyes and ears on-site, identifying issues early and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout each project. You'll work closely with project teams to document findings and support corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on construction work at various project stages
- Test materials and systems to verify compliance with codes and specifications
- Document inspection results and maintain detailed records
- Identify deficiencies and communicate findings to project teams
- Support corrective action follow-up and re-inspection
- Collaborate with project managers and trades to resolve quality issues
Qualifications
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of building codes and construction standards
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work on-site in various weather conditions
