About this role
EduCore Institute is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure supporting our educational platform. You will lead the development and optimization of systems that serve thousands of users daily, ensuring reliability, security, and performance at scale. In this role, you'll take ownership of critical infrastructure decisions, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to enable rapid, safe deployments. You'll work on complex distributed systems challenges and drive continuous improvement across our platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions for the educational platform
- Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, and incident response processes
- Manage cloud environments, databases, and container orchestration systems
- Lead architecture reviews and technical standards for infrastructure decisions
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions
- Document infrastructure systems and establish runbooks for common operations
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or infrastructure engineering
- Demonstrated expertise with cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience designing and maintaining high-availability distributed systems
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or Go
- Strong background in containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD pipeline development
- Track record of mentoring junior engineers and leading technical initiatives
