Frontend Developer – Retail Applications

Urban Retail Ventures is hiring a Frontend Developer to join our Software Development team. You'll create responsive, intuitive user interfaces that power our retail applications and help customers and staff have seamless experiences. In this mid-level role, you'll own the frontend architecture for features that drive our business forward. You'll collaborate closely with design and backend teams, take ownership of code quality, and continuously improve the applications our users rely on every day.

Responsibilities

• Design and build responsive user interfaces for retail-focused web and mobile applications
• Write clean, maintainable frontend code that meets accessibility and performance standards
• Collaborate with product designers and backend engineers to translate requirements into polished features
• Debug, test, and optimize application performance across browsers and devices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Iterate on user feedback to refine the experience and resolve usability issues

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
• Comfortable working in an agile environment with version control systems
• Experience building intuitive interfaces and attention to user experience
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks and component-driven development
• Strong understanding of responsive design, HTML, and CSS
