Senior Account Executive – Client Relations

Join Velocity Trading Group's Client Relations team as a Senior Account Executive, where you'll lead meaningful partnerships with our most important clients. You'll own the full client lifecycle—from initial relationship building through account growth and retention—while collaborating closely with trading, operations, and leadership teams. This role is ideal for an experienced relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced financial services environment. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring client satisfaction in a competitive, dynamic market.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture long-term client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for key accounts
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and pitch new services or products
• Develop and execute account strategies aligned with client goals and company objectives
• Collaborate with trading and operations teams to resolve client issues and ensure seamless service delivery
• Track account metrics, pipeline activity, and forecasting to meet or exceed revenue targets
• Represent Velocity Trading Group at industry events, client meetings, and business development activities

Qualifications

• 8+ years of account management, business development, or client relations experience (financial services preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, build rapport quickly, and operate independently
• Comfort with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
• Proven track record closing deals and growing account value over time
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings
