Senior Derivatives Specialist

Velocity Trading Group seeks a Senior Derivatives Specialist to manage and execute trades across complex derivatives products. Responsibilities

• Execute and manage trades across derivatives products including options, swaps, and exotic instruments
• Develop and implement trading strategies aligned with market conditions and risk parameters
• Monitor and optimize portfolio positions and hedge ratios in real time
• Analyze market data and identify trading opportunities across multiple asset classes
• Collaborate with risk management and operations teams to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
• Document trade rationale and maintain detailed records for reporting and analysis

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience trading or managing derivatives products
• Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial instruments and market data
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure
• Experience with trading platforms and derivatives pricing tools
• Strong understanding of options pricing, volatility, and risk metrics (Greeks, VaR)
