Senior Data Analyst, Health Outcomes

Horizon Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics team in Boston. You will analyze health outcomes and operational metrics to generate actionable insights that drive clinical and business decisions. In this role, you'll work with large healthcare datasets, develop analytical models, and communicate findings to stakeholders across clinical, operational, and executive teams. You'll own end-to-end analysis projects that directly impact patient care and organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze health outcomes and operational metrics using Python and SQL to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports for clinical and operational stakeholders
• Query and manage healthcare databases to extract, clean, and validate data for analysis
• Develop predictive models to forecast patient outcomes and resource utilization
• Document analytical methodologies and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations
• Collaborate with clinical, IT, and business teams to define metrics and data requirements
• Support data governance and quality assurance processes within the analytics function

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or related analytical role
• Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field
• Demonstrated experience working with healthcare data and domain knowledge of health systems
• Experience with machine learning or predictive analytics (preferred)
• Expertise with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or similar platforms
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and statistical analysis
