Principal Infrastructure Architect

About this role

Paradise Hospitality Group seeks a Principal Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable cloud architecture supporting enterprise growth. You will define infrastructure strategy, establish best practices, and mentor a high-performing infrastructure team. This role owns cloud platform decisions across AWS, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code tooling. You will work with engineering and operations teams to build systems that support current demand while anticipating future scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable AWS-based cloud infrastructure solutions for enterprise workloads
• Lead infrastructure-as-code initiatives using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Establish Kubernetes cluster architecture and container orchestration standards
• Define automation frameworks leveraging Ansible and CI/CD pipelines
• Mentor infrastructure engineers and establish technical standards and best practices
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure roadmap with business growth objectives

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cloud architecture and infrastructure engineering experience
• Demonstrable expertise with AWS services, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CloudFormation
• Experience mentoring technical teams and establishing engineering standards
• Proven ability to design highly available, secure, and scalable systems at enterprise scale
• Strong background in infrastructure-as-code and automation using Ansible or similar tools
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical decisions to stakeholders
