Senior DevOps Engineer

About this role

Paradise Hospitality Group is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own infrastructure and deployment pipelines for our cloud-based services. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable systems that support our hospitality platform, ensuring reliability and performance across production environments. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with engineering teams to automate deployments, optimize infrastructure costs, and improve operational efficiency. You will be responsible for infrastructure-as-code practices, CI/CD pipeline management, and monitoring systems that keep our services running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring scalability and cost optimization
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD to automate testing and deployments
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus to detect and respond to issues proactively
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and reduce time-to-production
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence
• Document infrastructure architecture and operational runbooks for team knowledge sharing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or related engineering roles
• Demonstrated ability to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus
• Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Proficiency with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
• Strong understanding of containerization, Kubernetes, or similar orchestration platforms
