Platform Engineer

About this role

Paradise Hospitality Group is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our Platform team. You'll design and build internal tools and infrastructure that enable our engineering teams to develop, deploy, and operate services reliably at scale. This is a mid-level role focused on improving developer experience and operational efficiency across our organization. You'll work with modern technologies including Go, Rust, Kubernetes, and Docker to solve infrastructure challenges and streamline our engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build internal platforms and tooling that improve developer productivity
• Develop infrastructure automation using Go, Rust, and Kubernetes
• Manage containerized workloads and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement and maintain gRPC-based services and communication patterns
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand tooling needs and technical constraints
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement reliability improvements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building infrastructure, platform services, or internal tools
• Comfortable working across multiple teams and communicating technical concepts clearly
• Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container orchestration
• Experience designing APIs and distributed systems
• Familiarity with gRPC or other RPC frameworks
• Strong proficiency in Go, Rust, or similar systems programming languages
