About this role
Horizon Health Solutions seeks a QA Manager to lead quality assurance initiatives and testing processes across our healthcare technology platform. You will own end-to-end QA strategy, build and mentor a testing team, and ensure product quality meets regulatory and customer expectations. This senior role requires hands-on leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in healthcare or regulated environments. You'll partner with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed quality into every release cycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead QA strategy, test planning, and execution across product releases
- Build, mentor, and manage a quality assurance team
- Define testing standards, frameworks, and automated test suites
- Identify and track quality metrics; drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance
- Investigate defects, prioritize fixes, and validate resolutions
Qualifications
- 7+ years in QA leadership or senior QA roles, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries
- Demonstrated experience building and managing QA teams
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA, FDA, or similar) is a plus
- Proficiency with test management tools, automation frameworks, and test case design
- Strong understanding of SDLC, regression testing, and quality metrics
