About this role
Urban Retail Ventures seeks a Senior HR Manager to lead recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives across the organization. You'll own the full employee lifecycle—from attracting top talent to fostering a culture of growth and retention. This role reports to HR leadership and partners with department heads to align people strategy with business goals. You'll drive process improvements, manage compliance, and create meaningful experiences that engage our team.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment strategy, including sourcing, screening, and hiring for all positions
- Design and execute onboarding programs that accelerate time-to-productivity and cultural integration
- Develop employee engagement initiatives, feedback mechanisms, and retention programs
- Manage HR operations, including payroll coordination, records, and compliance documentation
- Partner with managers on performance management, professional development, and conflict resolution
- Track HR metrics and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HR experience, including recruitment and employee relations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence across levels
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms
- Proven track record building and executing onboarding and engagement programs
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
