Concrete Specialist

BuildRight Construction is seeking a Concrete Specialist to join our Concrete & Masonry team in Portland, OR. You will install and finish concrete foundations, slabs, and structural elements on residential and commercial projects. This is a mid-level role requiring hands-on expertise and a commitment to quality workmanship and on-time project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Install concrete foundations, slabs, and structural elements per project specifications and blueprints
• Prepare work areas, including site layout, formwork setup, and material staging
• Mix, place, and finish concrete using appropriate techniques and tools
• Monitor concrete curing and perform quality control checks throughout the process
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
• Coordinate with crew members and project managers to meet schedules and safety standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on concrete installation and finishing experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications
• Knowledge of concrete safety practices and OSHA requirements
• Proficiency with standard concrete tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
