BuildRight Construction is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in the competitive construction industry. You'll identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivate lasting client relationships, and forge strategic partnerships that drive revenue and market expansion. In this role, you'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on relationship building. You'll work cross-functionally with our marketing and operations teams to understand market needs, develop go-to-market strategies, and close deals that matter. Your work directly impacts our trajectory and competitive position in the Seattle market and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market research, prospect outreach, and industry analysis
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, contractors, suppliers, and strategic partners
- Develop and execute partnership agreements that create mutual value and open new revenue streams
- Lead pipeline development and sales activities from prospecting through contract closure
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align business development efforts with company capabilities
- Track pipeline metrics and report regularly on business development progress and strategy adjustments
Qualifications
- 7+ years of business development, sales, or partnership development experience (construction industry preferred)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Proven track record closing significant deals and building long-term strategic partnerships
- Self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic mindset with ability to identify market trends and growth opportunities
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with excellent communication abilities
