Structural Engineer

BuildRight Construction is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Engineering team in Denver. You will design and analyze building structures to ensure safety, functionality, and full compliance with local and national building codes. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects while maintaining high standards of structural integrity and professional practice.

Responsibilities

• Design structural systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings
• Perform load calculations and structural analysis using industry-standard software
• Prepare detailed structural drawings and specifications for construction
• Conduct site inspections and assess existing structures for safety and code compliance
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
• Review construction documents and provide technical guidance during project execution

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of structural design and analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Knowledge of building codes and standards (IBC, ACI, AISC)
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or eligibility to obtain one
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (SAP2000, ETABS, or equivalent)
• Strong communication and project management skills
