Clinical Operations Coordinator

Horizon Health Solutions is seeking a Clinical Operations Coordinator to join our Clinical Operations team in Austin, TX. You'll be the backbone of our patient care coordination efforts, working directly with clinical staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient experiences. In this mid-level role, you'll manage scheduling, documentation, and communication between patients and providers. You'll use EMR systems daily while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance. Your ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay organized will directly impact how well our clinical team serves patients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments, intake processes, and clinical workflows using EMR systems
• Communicate with patients via phone and email to confirm visits, collect information, and address concerns
• Maintain accurate and compliant patient records and documentation
• Support clinical staff by preparing charts, gathering prior records, and managing follow-up tasks
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and operational bottlenecks
• Ensure all processes meet HIPAA privacy and security standards

Qualifications

• 2+ years of healthcare experience (clinical, administrative, or patient-facing roles)
• Advanced Excel skills are a plus
• Bilingual capabilities (Spanish) are a plus
• Proficiency with EMR systems and electronic health records
• Solid organizational and time-management abilities
• Strong patient interaction and communication skills
