Equipment Manager

BuildRight Construction seeks an Equipment Manager to oversee fleet maintenance, scheduling, and inventory across all job sites. You'll ensure our equipment is operational, cost-effective, and ready to support project timelines. This role is central to keeping our operations running smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for all construction equipment
• Track equipment inventory, utilization, and location across multiple job sites
• Coordinate with maintenance vendors and in-house technicians to minimize downtime
• Monitor equipment costs, fuel consumption, and maintenance budgets
• Respond to equipment failures and prioritize urgent repairs
• Maintain accurate fleet records and compliance documentation

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing construction equipment or fleet operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
• Knowledge of heavy equipment types, maintenance cycles, and safety standards
• Proficiency with fleet management software or inventory systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate or inspect equipment as needed
