Inventory Coordinator

Urban Retail Ventures seeks a mid-level Inventory Coordinator to oversee daily inventory operations and supply chain activities. In this role, you will monitor stock levels across locations, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure accurate inventory records to support business objectives. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory flow, reduce discrepancies, and maintain efficient warehouse operations. This position offers hands-on experience in supply chain management within a growing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust inventory levels to meet demand forecasts and operational needs
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to schedule deliveries and manage lead times
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies in warehouse systems
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Communicate inventory status and supply chain updates to relevant departments
• Support process improvements to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or warehouse operations
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in supply chain or business preferred
• Organized approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proficiency with inventory management software and data analysis tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately
