About this role
Nexus Analytics is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own and optimize our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable systems that support our analytics platform. This mid-level role offers hands-on technical work with cloud technologies and automation frameworks. You'll balance infrastructure stability with the agility required in a fast-moving analytics environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, safe deployments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues; implement solutions that prevent recurrence
- Document systems, runbooks, and architectural decisions for team knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with engineers to improve deployment processes and infrastructure reliability
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure or CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-DevOps stakeholders
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security best practices
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar languages)
