About this role
EduCore Institute's Student Services team is seeking a mid-level Academic Advisor to guide students through their educational journey.
Responsibilities
- Meet with students regularly to develop and refine personalized academic plans
- Review course selections and recommend options based on academic goals and degree requirements
- Guide students through career exploration and pathway planning
- Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed
- Connect students with campus resources, tutoring, and support services
- Maintain accurate records and communicate with faculty and administrators
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in academic advising, student services, or higher education support
- Ability to help students clarify goals and create actionable plans
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Genuine interest in supporting diverse student populations
- Organized with attention to detail in record-keeping
- Strong knowledge of degree requirements, course offerings, and academic policies
