Senior Healthcare Attorney

Horizon Health Solutions seeks a Senior Healthcare Attorney to provide expert legal guidance on healthcare regulations, compliance, and contracts. You will serve as a key advisor to our organization, ensuring all operations align with federal and state healthcare laws. This role combines in-depth regulatory knowledge with practical contract negotiation experience. You will manage complex legal matters affecting patient care, operations, and business relationships across the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Advise leadership on healthcare regulatory compliance, including CMS, FDA, and state-specific requirements
• Draft, review, and negotiate healthcare contracts with providers, payers, vendors, and partners
• Analyze and mitigate legal risks in clinical and operational programs
• Provide counsel on privacy, reimbursement, and fraud/abuse prevention matters
• Collaborate with clinical and business teams on regulatory and policy questions
• Stay current on evolving healthcare law and communicate changes to stakeholders

Qualifications

• 7+ years of healthcare law experience in regulatory, transactional, or in-house counsel roles
• Ability to distill complex legal matters for non-legal audiences
• Deep knowledge of HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and CMS regulations
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active bar license in Pennsylvania or reciprocal admission
• Professional references attesting to legal judgment and healthcare industry expertise
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
